friends Mari has not been given the privilege of socializing with too many other dogs. It was always her family, and there is definitely a difference between speaking with your brother or mother than speaking with someone on other terms. Considering her intense distrust towards just about everyone she initially meets, it can be hard for her to obtain any sort of friendship, either due to something she might do or because of a certain robot's tendency to say the opposite of what she wanted it to say. To those who can persist enough to the point where she is willing to give them the time of day at any given point of the day, then you can expect her to at least stop trying to analyze your every movement. It will take her a while to grow comfortable in the presence of another.

enemies Due to her distrust, she will look for any reason to think ill of you. The wrong movement, the wrong phrase, and the wrong tone of voice might seal her perception of you. However, even if she does dislike you for whatever reason, she is not one to start fights. She would rather avoid them if at all possible. Her original line of work meant scaring threats off, not taking them head on unless it was inevitable. However, after the events that took her voice, you can expect her to take flight rather than to stick around for things to turn ugly. She doesn't have her brother to back her up, after all.

the closest bonds Those who get closest to her will find that she relaxes more in their presence. She is willing to walk with her head high, and, god forbid, she will actually wag her tail. That poor tail rarely gets any action. If it comes down to blooming feelings of romance, well... Expect a flustered mess who can't even communicate properly because her Watcher can't figure out what is going on. It isn't something she really thinks about nor expects from others, so the mere thought of it is more like listening to a fictional story than actually living it. You can expect absolute loyalty, though. Mari is not someone who would go from dog to dog just because they were interested. She would rather stick to the one or at lease the one she thinks is the one.

other Regardless of any sort of plot you want, Marionette is open for it. If you want to try and get her to join your pack, go ahead. Just have fun with her Watcher.

Finley is the new Alpha of Ash River. She would enjoy having a dog like Marionette in her ranks, as she tends to enjoy collecting interesting dogs into the ranks.

I also have John. He's also in a pack, but he might feel more at ease due to her nervous-looking, shy body language and may open up to her more than other dogs due to her silence. John's bio: [click]

Finley & Marionette
She won't join a pack very easily since that would require putting her trust in an entire group of dogs (or at least their leader). So, if Finley wants to college interesting dogs, she'll have to start out by getting to know Mari first.

John & Marionette
Their interactions might be interesting, though I might just be intrigued that a dog who fantasizes about killing might open up to her. I definitely want them to meet.

Marionette && Impulse

so yeah these two are similar in the fact that neither of them has had a ton of social interaction. i would love to see how they play out together. i think impulse would be sort of freaked out by her silence at first but then she'd return to her confident self, trying to win mari over.

it would also be hilarious if mari and impulse's brother momentum hit it off because he's really closed off too and god that would be fun to watch. that will be up to his adopter though. c: 

Impulse & Marionette
Yesss. I can't wait to see these two in action. Marionette definitely would not know how to act around a confident dog, though she might start drawing comparisons between Impulse and her own brother in that regard. I also can't wait to see who adopts Momentum. o: Befriend the entire family. Let's do it.

We can still throw them together one day and she might coax this dog in her pack one day.

kovex could use someone to be a close friend but he's terrified of just about anyone... I think someone like Marionette who is also incredibly cautious around others might give him a bit a comfort. They'll probably need a while before they'll trust one another, but I think they could be good friends someday :')

Attracting all the dogs with some sort of social problem~! :D Yes, they will need to be friends eventually. Marionette seems to at least accept the presence of other dogs a little quicker than I initially thought, though I think it's just 'cause she thinks her Watcher can at least hold strangers up while she slips away. /cough.

I'll actually read Kovex's bio when I get home. So I'm not much help in this response. /shot

[punts boris @ ya] I come bearing the gift of this giant dork! He's pretty much a loving fluffball who isn't exactly the best at subtlety or realizing when other dogs might not want to experience the joys of terrible Russian singing, but he is open to making friends with just about anyone, and he'd probably be more open to Marionette once he realized she wasn't a threat. (Also he totally hides at the bottom of lakes/ponds and spooks people, so we could do something with that scenario, aha!) 8)c

Borislav && Marionette
Oh, goodness. Winterwood isn't supposed to take kindly to Watchdogs (though Marionette has very little knowledge of any of the packs), so it might be fun to play out them actually becoming friends and then members of the pack finding out Boris has been hanging around a Watchdog.

She wouldn't know what to do if a white ball of fluff was around, and her limited social knowledge would be completely forgotten upon meeting him. Strange, too-friendly dog who sings in a strange language? Strange dog who tries to pull some lake ghost trick? Nope. Talk to the Watcher 'cause Mari has nope'd out the first meeting.

Mmm yes, I am totally down with Forbidden Friends route - Boris is a bit purposefully-blind to Winterwood's attitude towards Watchdogs, considering he often uses his mutation without thinking about their rules about doing so, so he'd be a bit of a hypocrite if he did care. ;3c (Plus Stuff within his history regarding Augments, aha.) I can totally see him becoming protective of Marionette once they get to know each other! (But he can still be overtly affectionate and a Big Joyful Lump so he will probably 100% freak her out at times, rip.)

OOOOH! Do something with Quinn! This lovable weirdo/something else is fun to play with.
