To the North of the Marsh is the Icy Path, one of the few places to access the Frozen Empty without crossing the mountains. The Icy Path is a misnomer, as it is actually a cool-weather meadow. It is named simply because it's a path to the harsh Frozen Empty.

A few miles East of the Marsh, Kallahan Village is a settlement made of recycled materials before the dogs and wildlife reclaimed it. Sheet metal shacks, dining halls made of drywall and siding nailed together, and a makeshift electrical system make up the village.
